Stitching Our Own Social Safety Net

Hello Common Fronters,

A group of low income people and consumer survivors, along with some of their allies, have come together to start a new provincial campaign: Stitching our Own Social Safety Net. We are very concerned about the unraveling of our social safety net. There have been recent cuts to almost every provincial social program including: social assistance, housing, health care and education. Thus we have decided to take action, and stitch own social safety net, to show the government how it should be done. And we are asking people from around the province, to help us create it.
